Which is what is missing from the example code, as I mentioned:
"I can't find "byOffset" and "byNbOfReg" defined anywhere."
and precisely why I asked the question.

Anyway, Thorsten understood what I was asking.

What about the other question (the code). Any ideas why it returns
False?
