Peter
Thank you for answering so quickly
I do know how to get the error strings for the API's return value
You didn't in fact answer all my questions:
1) What constitutes a 'failure' which will cause the API to
return without trying the alternates: if the number is busy, if it
fails to authenticate, if the computer does not answer, etc.
As I said, I was puzzled that the API returned an errorcode
indicating that the number was busy, or that there was no dial tone
without it trying all the alternates, and retrying [Retry attempts]
times.
2) Is there any way of telling why numbers failed if it finally
connects: that is, in your example, supposing that there were three
entries, with the third 9999, and it tries 4444 and fails, and then
tries 8888 and fails, and then succeeds with 9999, is there any way of
telling why the first two numbers failed?
Thank you again
