Other than the VB 6.0 run-time, there is no longer any support
for this version of the product. It's deader than a doornail. Unless
you're a hobbiest programmer that really has no interest in the
newer technologies

So would I, but I would move on to something from someone other than Micro$oft. There are plenty of alternatives to VB.Net.
