Re: Inno next Step

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Okay, I think I might be to blame for all the Inno questions here. Bob
posted a plea for help for a colleague on the Inno boards...but initially I
thought BOB was asking for help, so I posted back, "why didn't you ask in
the VB groups, most of us use Inno and can help with your script"

So days later all these newbiw Inno questions show up. Okay, that was not
what I meant to happen. A regular wanting help with a script that he had
already written I would have helped with...but what I'm seeing here are
folks who have no clue even how to compile a script, much less write one.
Since I guess I started it, I'll end it.

If one has a question about a script already written, those of us who know
Inno will probably help...I would.

If one is coming here with no working knowledge of Inno and wants
handwritten help to make it work, as wwe've seen...then you are in the wrong
group. You'll need to go back to the Inno group (news.jrsoftware.org) and
ask the kind of questions that have been popping up here. Okay? No offense
intended...just trying to clear up what has been happening and get the
questions on the operation of Inno where they should be.

If you have a scrip problem after you've made one and unders5tand how Inno
works, then try back and maybe we (or I) could help spot the problem. No
more, no less.

Okay?

Thanks

- Kev
