Will post one - also with a solution for the DirectX-Srf-Pointer-
problem (which one can workaround using the builtin DX7ForVB-
Byte-Array-locking).

13.8msec for loading and (stretched) rendering of
a 1280x720.jpg (1.8GHz Mobile-CPU).
Hope it does well on your machine too.
To run the example from your IDE, please put the ijl15.dll
into your System32-Path.
I've also included the jpg-write-direction, which will need
a pointer to raw 24Bit-DIB-Data.
