I am trying to create a word document from a vb.net 2005 program.not
I have not been able to find the system.io.packaging namespace. It does
show up in intellisense. Am I missing something, or is there an updated
download somewhere, or what?
As you can see, we're currently suffering
disruption here in the VB group from what might
be characterized as "rabid DotNettiacs". You don't
want to join this argument. You just need to know
that:
* VB and VB.Net are entirely different. Any code
that's relevant in one is almost certain to be
inapplicable in the other.
* Your mistake is not an accident. Microsoft
changed the VB.Net name to merely "VB" as part
of their .Net marketing strategy and many people
are confused by it (as was intended).
* All groups that actually deal with .Net have
"dotnet" in the name, so you can search for them
that way.
