The original poster has already been refered to the
proper group, and acknowledged his mistake. Why
do you feel the need to respond in this manner?

Because when I posted my own response Ken Halter's reply was not present in
the list of posts I was viewing. Do you not know how the Internet works? Not
everybody sees the same posts at the same time. Much depends on their ISP
and on various other things. Sometimes all postings, or just some postings,
are delayed for quite some time as far as being visible in the group at the
receiving end is concerned..

Ok. But, I see no redirection of the OP in your post, just a subtle
swipe at MS. Why did you not, as Ken did, provide a link to the correct
newsgroup? If you want to cut down on the .NET chatter here, I suggest
you simply redirect these posters to the correct venue.

Maybe you are trying to continue the VB.NET
vs VB.CLASSIC war?

Nope. But I'm willing to go there if you're inviting me? Are you trying to
start a flame war of some kind?

No. Not at all. I'm just pointing out that maybe, just maybe your reactions
to these posters is part of the perceived problem in this group?

Of course, I wouldn't mind it if you could produce one of your projects
that just can't be upgraded to VB.NET and let me take a crack at it :)
Of course, I wouldn't want anything that you consider proprietary - I'm
mostly curious, because I know your type of projects are probably the
hardest to convert to .NET.
