Oops! Fixed my own problem! Modified the "Start In" folder name in
Properties of the VB6 shortcut. There is one minor problem in that one
would have to change it for every app. That is, if I moved from
working on Budgerigar apps to Pomegranate apps, then I'd have to
manually revisit that shortcut and modify the Start In argument from
C:\MM\Progs\Budgerigars to C:\MM\Progs\Pomegranates. It would be nice
if VB kinda recognised: "This fool has been working in Pomegranates
for an hour, so let's change the Start In folder to help him out."
Kinda like a bit of AI from VB.

You especially (as a programmer) should know, nothing happens on
the computer unless someone has written the code to do that.

For fast access to your different projects, you can set up links off the
Start menu to make things go a bit smoother. Here are instructions
for Win2K, adjust as necessary (if at all) for your own OS...

1. Right Click the Start button and select Open
2. Create a new folder there (call it Work, for example)
3. Open that new folder
4. Copy any .vbp file and paste it as a shortcut to that folder.
5. Rename the shortcut if desired....

Now to launch VB use the Start menu, navigate to that Work
folder and select one of the .vbp shortcuts.

You'll find when you go to save your work, it should default
to the folder the actual .vbp file is in.

When you create a new project, save the files to some folder,
and open that folder. Then click the Start button and right
click on the Work folder to select Open. You can then drag
and drop (holding the Alt key down) the .vbp file between
folders to add it to the Work menu.
