Regardless of which side of that argument you're on, my understanding is
that only VB.NET 2005 and above will work on Vista.
I didn't know that. .Net 2005 is v. 2. And v. 3 doesn't
work on pre-XP SP2. So it would seem that the *only*
version of .Net that will actually run on all commonly used
Windows versions is VB.Net 2 AKA "VB8" AKA VB.Net 2005.
At this rate, VB.Net may very well have 15 names but no
Windows compatibility before VB itself is actually gone. :)
