You'd be wise to take your own advice.

I'm not the one who posts a 2 word response containing nothing but an
insult, while ignoring everything that was said.

The Windows API is littered with function calls that return non-zero on
success and zero on failure. This function uses the very same model.

This function is not part of the windows API, it is a VB function and as
such should adhere to the standard of VB. If this was a VB function built in
by MS then it would most definately raise an error.

If you don't know how or when to test for success/failure and react
appropriately, without an error popping up in your face, I truly pity
those poor users of yours even more than I did after reading that you
didn't want their error reports any longer. I think you need to
re-evaluate your entire way of thinking in this realm, as it clearly isn't
working.

Odd that I wrote in the other post "when replying, make sure you respond to
what the person said, not an exaggerated version of what you think they
said" and then you go and do exactly that. In fact you did even more than
that, you completely invented something I said and responded to that,
instead of what I actually did say. As another free tip, when you need to go
to those extents, again, you should consider the fact you are wrong. If you
can't come up with a response to what I really did say then perhaps what I
said was correct. Now, just to point out what I did say, I am more than
happy for my users to send me error reports, I just want a copy of the text,
not a screen shot. I was quite happy with the email idea suggested here and
will investigate. I think a message saying "please do not send screen shots,
please push the email button" should be enough.

Your correction is therefore beneath contempt.

What is up with you karl? You're acting like a child of late.

Michael
