However, now I have a new problem. I'm using a Vista
Home Basic computer with 2 Gigs of memory and every
time I try to access one of my data files with my VB5
program I get a message "Runtime Error 70 - Permission
Denied". What do I need to do?
What do you mean by "access one of my data files"? Do you mean when you are trying to read one, or when you are trying to write one, or both? What sort of files are they? What methods are you using to perform the read or write? Are they on your local machine? Which folder are they in? Can you post an example of the actual code you are you using to access them? Details, details . . . . .
Mike
