Again, all the Brainiacs in Redmond didn't see that coming? How could they have
possibly felt it worth their effort to eviscerate the OS for 1500 measly sales?
Sure seems to me they could hardly afford *to* sell it. Not sure what math says
they couldn't afford not to.
I don't think they had any choice do you? If they didn't make and offer
the N version to EU OEM's, then they couldn't continue to sell the
regular XP versions either. They would have been out of the EU market.
How could they afford NOT to do it? XP N was ordered by the court.
I honestly didn't track it that closely. They were still allowed to sell the other
one, huh? Well, yeah, that's an added cost of doing business, then. I'm sure it
cost a few executive lobster dinners. Doubtful it took *that* much (in MSFT terms)
off the bottom line.
