Yes, it probably will come down to that, but as you say hopefully somebody will have done this already.
It would be a very useful thing.

It is not the function itself that is the problem, but the lines of code
that call the Function or Sub.
Arguments will have to match and this can't be a simple find and replace.

I use an editor that allows keystroke/grep type macros. You might search for
one of those editors.
It might be possible to write a simple program to do it for you. (on the
text modules outside of the IDE.)
Hopefully, someone will come along with something better.
