I was just referring to only the Framework (needed by non-developers

remember correctly); I thought I read somewhere that the new one was
over 100 Megs.
The .Net 2.0 Framework download is about 20 megs.
The .Net 3.0 Framework consists of a) the .Net 2.0 Framework, and b) WPF, WFF,
WTF, etc. Things like Windows Presentation Foundation. It was called WinFX at
some point, I think. The core of it is unchanged; the add-ons are only needed
for an application that uses them. Silverlight, or something.
As for .Net 3.5 Framework, I don't know, but I think it is still .Net 2.0 at
heart, with new versions of WPF, WTF, etc. But it may actually have a new core
as well.
Hm, 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5. Anyone have an alogorithm for MS's version
numbering scheme? :)
