And I've got a question, If an .Net app requires 1.1 framework and I've got
the 2.0 Framework installed, will it work OK, or do I need both frameworks
installed? Being a VB6 Guy - I don't know.... I've been getting a mix of
.NET apps lately from other departments and am not sure what's required.
I'll take a lack of response as telling me to ask this in a .NET group - so
no one needs to post up the usual verbiage....
You need 1.1, too. Just install everything Microsoft has all the time and
you never have to worry about anything.
Well, maybe.... until the next version of VB.NET that is. <g>
By the way, I seem to remember reading (as I don't use VB.NET) that the latest Framework for VB2008 is humongous compared to the older Frameworks (which are sort of largish in and of themselves)... is that correct?
