No, I've been using VB since VB3. Unfortunately with a name like mine, there are a lot me running around. There's a lead guitarist for some modern pop band with the same name.... I have to check where I am when ever I hear "next up, interview with Chris Anderson" ...


Sounds like you have a nasty task ahead of you. Have you considered options other than VFred?

We considered C#. In the end, we're so heavily invested in VB, it was just easier to stay with it. The problem I'm seeing that most of our developers are having problems with is the OO concept. For me it's so natural (been using OO concepts ever since I learned about it back in..... 90 was it? sounds right), that it pains me to not use it.

The trick we've decided, is to do things slowly, deliberate and right.
