I am using vbasic 5.
In the list of available components under Project>Components I have 5
different Microsoft Windows Common Controls:
Microsoft Windows Common Controls 5.0 (SP2) ---> COMCTL32.OCX
Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0 (SP6) ---> mscomctl.ocx
Microsoft Windows Common Controls-2-5.0 (SP2) ---> comct232.ocx
Microsoft Windows Common Controls-2-6.0 (SP4) --->Mscomct2.ocx
Microsoft Windows Common Controls-3 6.0 (SP4) ---> comct332.ocx

The -2 and -3 ones are different sets, that is they contain different controls.

The 5.0 versions were shipped with VB5; the 6.0 versions with VB6. I think.

That's all I can tell you. I just use VB6 with the 6.0 versions.
