There is no direct support for PNG in VB 6.

There are some code libraries out there you can check out
for code on parsing and displaying PNG images.

Another alternative is an ActiveX control with PNG support.
There are many - Check out LeadTools, ImageMan and our own MetaDraw.
www.leadtools.com/SDK/Raster/Raster-Imaging.htm
www.data-tech.com/products/imaging.aspx
www.Bennet-Tec.com/btproducts/MetaDraw/Metadraw.htm

They all offer PNG support plus printing, zoom, scroll, and more.

I also saw another of your other posts where you mention that you
are "drawing pictures in the picture control" - Our MetaDraw also
has direct support for drawing - either by mouse or by code.
It's easy and includes features such as select, move, resize,
undo / redo, etc.
