Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for design and development efforts for software
extensions, alterations and new features for existing product lines
and legacy systems.

Minimum Requirements:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management,
interpersonal and team building skills.
- Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to
communicate effectively with various teams.
- Proven ability to drive projects with medium- to large scope and
complexity.
- Demonstrated ability to systematically gather relevant information
from different sources to address an issue and make a prompt and
insightful decision.
- Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines and
operating under tight time constraints
- Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem
solving, organizational, issue resolution.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience in related
field.
- 4 or more years experience with VB6
- 3 or more years of object oriented software design (OOD)
- 3 or more years experience working with .NET (VB or C#)
- IT II Position of Trust Clearance
1. 4+ years of VB 6.0
2. 3+ years of OOD
3. 3+ years .NET (VB or C#)
4. MUST be US Citizen, clearable.
desired or plus skills:
1+ years experience in the following areas:
- COM/DCOM
- Relational Database Development
- Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
- Continuous Integration Practices
- M.S. Computer Science
Project: Enterprise-level rich client (mostly VB6) working with
multiple back-end systems. Candidates *MUST* be comfortable with VB6
development.

Wow, I've seen simpler job descriptions for full time employees. You seem
to want yout candidate to not only hit the ground running, but to know all
the nuances and facets of the company instantly and be as productive by the
end of day 1 as he is on day 180, and you haven't even mentioned which
industry it's associated with, but I assume telecom from the address. With
the huge number of SW people in that area already, you must be a little
desparate to be spamming newsgroups. Better to go where people are actively
looking for jobs, IMO. Lots of bread truck drivers would love a shot at a
chance to shine.
