Good suggestion. I thought of this. But no. I did a search across hard disk. I even checked the PATH
I checked other env variables in case VB6 used them.
I checked for non-existent directories in PATH as I have had software that went bananas on things like that.
It is clean.
My gut feelng is I am not breaking any of the limitations of VB6.
No deep paths.
All software on it is Microsoft (apart from Dell, 4NT from JPSoft, Acrobat, McAfees VirusScan, Google Toolbar)
Computer is relatively new - Dell Optiplex GX620 with 2 processors.
It is something else. I wish the error message was more informative - a code or something.
What if you try
vb6 /make projectname[.vbp] [exename]
from command line?
And, just for grins, what about executing C2 from the command line? Does it complain of anything other than lack of intermediate file for input?
