principle was recommended to decouple gui from other classes
What you abandoned was the better solution.
then the gui has a ref to the other classes.
so decouple gui is not a general rule?
or not a good idea?
or just this specific case is an exception?
or i'm just misunderstanding the concept?
sorry to be so dense.
trying to grok general rules/guidelines from various specific posts/topics
Thanks for your response
