As you have said Dave, this is so trivial that it is not worth arguing over and I wasn't for one minute suggesting that you had dismissed my own solution, and neither was I denigrating your own. I was merely responding to your statement that drawing a box using the Line method was like using a sledgehammer to break a nut. I couldn't understand why you were saying that, because drawing boxes in such a manner is extremely simple and virtually a "one liner". I therefore wanted to know why you were saying otherwise, and it entered my head that you perhaps thought all the SetPrinterOrigin and GetDeviceCaps stuff was there solely because the OP was drawing lines, which of course is not the case. He would need to use that code anyway, regardless of the method he chose to draw his boxes.
