I was able to install SP6 on my Vista box without any problems. I did
however select the "Run as Admin" option when installing. I hear that makes
a difference. <g>

|I can't get sp6 to install.
|
| 1) i need sp6 to install because vb6 doesnt close properly. I have vista
| ultimate.
| 2) I cannot re-install vb6 from scratch because i dont have the orriginal
cd
| anymore.
| 3) I also have several 3rd party controls with licences and service packs
| that i dont want to break.
| 4) I have two clients still using vb6 developed product. I need my
| workstation functioning at least on the current level.
|
| So the only message sp6 gives me is that it did not install successfully.
|
| Any clues?
