What you may want to consider is creating an image of the installation and then using it to build
all of the machines. This way you can easily rebuild a machine when necessary. This is a very common
approach in training environments.
When my wife was taking some computer courses, they rewrote the images
on the student machines every night over the network, so the students
had to take ALL their work home every day.
