but If I'm going to do that I just might as well distribute the
manifest file. I want to call it from a resource that's compiled
within the executable.
I was under the impression that the manifest file needed to be an actual
file on the HD (I'll be corrected if I am wrong). You would need to extract
it from the EXE and write it to the HD anyway.
