I'm more of the kinda guy who likes to do things properly. In my book if you
want a field in a db to store a date then you use a date datatype.
I used to feel the same way about Variants. Then I discovered that
they are actually quite useful, in fact, very useful. Then along came
ASP where all vars are variants, and who's even asking the question
any more?
