Re: Problem with VB crashing

I'm hoping that some here maybe has experienced a similar problem that
might help me diagnose this.
Help ?
This just keeps getting more weird.
I copied two of the projects (that were crashing VB) over to another
computer (WinXP Pro updated - VB6 w/ SP5). VB 6 was already installed
but I had to install Crystal Reports (8.5) and its service pack and
some Component One OCX's. Both projects loaded and ran and did NOT
cause VB to crash when I exited. To be sure, I exercised both projects
several times - no crashing. Conclusion: the problem is only on the
1st computer. And, no need to install SP-6)
I left the whole thing for a couple of hours. When I came back later I
saw that I had left the last project open in the VB editor. I clicked
the red X to close it and... yep, VB crashed. Now, that project
crashes VB every time. But, the other project still does NOT crash VB.
Jim Carlock: I used the EventViewer as you suggested but it tells me
the same thing the VB "crash" message says. The error is occurring in
VB6.exe
I'm going to install VB SP6 on this 2nd machine and see if it makes
any difference.
Weird...
