This a stupid security feature mainly in SP2 of XP. It treats CHM files asa
security risk and blocks them especially if you downloaded them using IE6or
7.
They are a security risk. What's *really* stupid is
that CHM is the standard in Vista and the support
for HLP files will have to be downloaded as an
add-on. The only reason I can see for that is that
Microsoft is still desperately trying to prove that
they "get" the Internet; and their way of proving that
is to make it appear that the Internet is blended
with everything Windows.
