Your original post told me that you don't have a manual for the Norstar (or you'd know that the port was a serial port) and you possibly don't know the printer port is a bugger to use for input.

After some investigating tonight, I see you've been around on newsgroups for at least three years, so nice try obfuscating your last post. Things you write years ago can come back and bite you in the bum.
