Whatever you do is going to be fun, as others have commented, but let me ask you two Killer Questions to start with ...

1) are your VB3 projects saved in "binary" format?
2) Do you still have a copy of VB3 lying around?

If the answers to the above are "Yes" and "No" then give up now.
The "binary" file format disappeared along with VB3 itself. /Every/ version of VB since uses "text" format and /only/ VB3 can read the "binary" one (and re-save it as text).

No - you'd have to upgrade the entire application in one go.
