An often used analogy to MS's recent behavior has been the Coke-New Coke
debacle. There are many parallels - one of them was the fact that the

execs "bought in" to the Pepsi Taste Tests and actually believed Pepsi
tasted better.


...and they were correct. Pepsi *does* taste better... by a mile.



But the real question was, would people who liked Coke, like New Coke
better?
