Yea..that's what I meant. Sorry. I added the me.refresh but it seems to be
taking twice as long now to complete. I'm probably better off not showing
the percentage in the minimized button. I just thought it would be a nice
feature.

? do you mean:
me.caption = progressbar.whateverthetextpropertyis
show when the form is minimized, the progress shows in the form's
toolbar button. The problem is sometimes is doesn't update when it
is minimized. The results are sporatic. How can this be fixed?
try adding me.refresh or (carefully) DoEvents after setting the caption
