Inserting text at a specific point

I am trying to enter a persons name and company name into set locations
in my templates. The document has [Insert Persons Name Here] and
[Insert Company Name Here] blocking the locations out. I want to insert
the names there, then have the document adjust the spacing in that area
so there is not a large blank space if the name is short. This will
need to be repeated for 1,000s of different companies and people.
