Hidden folder ?

Hi all, how are you? I hope fine...

I have a application made in VB 6 wich creates and descompacts some files at
a temp hidden folder at the app path, and when the user finishes the
application, that folder is deleted, so I would like to know if there is
something more secure to do that, because if the user enables the windows
explorer seeing hidden folder the files can be shown.
