I guess the keyword here is -should-<g>
Due to different SPs being out and other factors, IMHO I
sincerely would not assume that any given VB app will work
on any given Windows installation, even if it includes the runtime.

Which operating systems is it safe to assume that the vb6 runtime is
installed on.
For example, if we had an .exe created in vb6 that used only intrinsic
controls, which operating systems would the exe run on automatically,
and
which ones could (or would) cause a problem.
As best as I can tell, the following SHOULD* work:
Windows ME
Windows XP
Windows Vista (when it is out*)
What about ...
Windows 95 (who cares though)
Windows 98
Windows 98 SE
Windows 2000
Windows NT (4)
Windows 2003
