I haven't used Delphi since 1994 or 1995, but the fact that it is
still around makes me think that it has some staying power. I may
start playing around with it again.
I avoided Delphi (and the rest of the Builder stuff), mainly because
I had some very rather bad experiences with Borland's OWL back in the
old days. They were once actually as bad as MS is now, in destroying
code assets. (Well, perhaps not that bad as one could still do a
port. It took awhile and was aggravating, but it could be done with
out too much damage.)
However, many clients are looking at it. I can no longer suggest that
they don't consider it.
Has anyone played with their or anyone else's "Pacal.Net" stuff - is
this going to be a serious option?

It seems that I should spend a little less time listening to the hype and a
