However, COM never failed me before. Yeah, if you were an
idiot and got your wires crossed with binary compatibility then yeah,
that sucked. However, for most of us, the simple solution was to
rename the freakin' objects and recompile and we were good to go.

Exactly the same solution we came up with. I could never understand why
Microsoft would leave the names the same on incompatible OCXs. We ended up
puting the version in the name.
