There you are! The original MSDN CD's that ships with VS6 in 1998, has not
GDI+ documentation present in them.
I have to OS, Win98SE and WinXP Prof, so I guess GDI+ is usable in later
one at least.
So with a updated MSDN it could be easier for me to find new api docum.
but as others as already said that the MSDN update is only available to
MSDN-subsc. only.

That is true, but MSDN Library is available online. Hopefully, you have a
cable modem or DSL or other always-on connection to the Internet.

Bookmark this link (or in IE, add it to your Favorites):
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp

GDI+ documentation begins here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/gdicpp/GDIPlus/GDIPlus.asp

Most SDKs can be downloaded and installed locally.

For the Platform SDK, go here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=A55B6B43-E24F-4EA3-A93E-40C0EC4F68E5&displaylang=en

For "general" MSDN downloads, go here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/default.aspx

That is where you'll find links for downloading most (if not all) of MS's
SDKs.

As a final note, the MSDN Library that shipped with VB6/VS6 was only
partial. It did not include everything you get with the "full" MSDN
Library. Also, keep in mind that any documentation in it is over 7 years
old. Now for VB6/VS6-specific content, this doesn't matter. But for
anything else (such as Windows API functions) it does.

Hopefully, somehere among the links above, you'll find everything you need.
