I think you missed the point because you've gone and done exactly what I was
talking about in my original post. :-)

That's just plain wrong, people are using it. Look at the questions that get
raised in this group, there are almost no advanced questions left here.

Again just plain wrong. CDs hold 700MB and it can actually look better if
it's fuller, it gives the customer the impression you've done more work. VB6
apps take 10 meg or so anyway, not 2.

..Net apps do run a little slower but not that much. Startup is slower but
once it's running performance is quite good.

Plain wrong again. There is a benefit although it could be argued it's
minimal but this will not automatically lead to business failure. Existing
apps could be left in vb6 and new apps written in .net.
