Hi,
I have example code on my site (Click on PC Data Acquisition, then follow
the links to Real Time, Some Suggestions and download the code for
SetPriorityClass (note the discussion for answers to your questions about
"which is better).
However... It sounds to me as though the source of your problem lies
elsewhere. An "occasional freeze" has to have a cause that (usually) is a
logic problem; if so, no amount of fiddling with priority will solve. IMO,
some detailed debugging is suggested.
