Most of the corporate environments I'm in these days use 1024x768 as a
standard. However, unless your app really needs to maximize screen space, I
would still recommend developing at 800x600. There is always the occasional
user who needs everything larger for their eyes and is running at 800x600,
or that has an older monitor, or whatever. In any case, most apps are worse
off rather than better, if they try to cram on enough to fill 1024x768.
