I thing that last idea where you modify your main application to handle
the entire list is the best. If you try to command a sequence of runs of
the main app using an external calling application or "launcher" you
will have to keep track of the state of the main app so you don't start
another instance until the first has completed. This can be done, but
the complexity is significant.
