I need to develop an app and it would be far quicker and easier to utilize a
web page with XML data. That is fine and dandy - my question comes in the
event that a user selects a piece of data - say a contact - how then can you
launch a 32 bit app and show the data. For example, I have a piece of
software on my computer and it uses HTML to display data - when I click on an
item the hyperlink in the HTML reads:
<a href="ols://Timeless/Go" target="_self">
How do I set up my app to not only launch when the above hyperlink is
clicked? If my question doesn't make sense I would like to know how to write
an app "ols" and have it launched from a hyperlink contained in an HTML page
within the app itself. Anybody know of any resources that will better
explain this?
