Well, Mike, that put a halt to my development! That utility does exactly
what I want and spits out exactly the same listing as what I computed
manually and posted in the very 1st message that I opened this topic with.
There's no need for me to re-invent the wheel, I'll go with the utility that
you pointed out. The only thing more I could want additional would be for
the utility to allow defining of text that goes in front and after each line
in the conversion listing (IPF does not use the same allow/disallow text as
does Apache, but word processor manipulation can correct for that need). The
utility is super cool, free, and works on Windows -- I am happy with it and
can now get down to work! Thank you very much for the link, Mike.

For anyone who wants to continue the project that I started (but have not
finished) and provided listing for in my Sunday 19-Sep-04 10:11AM post in
this topic, please feel free as I hereby donate it as public domain without
restriction. And thanks (a lot!) to all who participated in this topic. :)
