Maybe they were suggesting to use 2 bytes for each character. One
byte for the ASCII value and one byte for the formating. This doesnt
sound like a bad idea although it wastes space and isnt nearly as
efficient as just saving the RTF to Oracle... duuuuh!!! However, It
would have been a good idea back in the day when storage was expensive
and processors were slow... psyche!!! LOL anyway, I am done
defending the honor of the dumb...
