If you'd care to post some specifics, people here might be able to help.

I'm not running XP, so I probably wouldn't be able to duplicate your experiences,
but techniques and concepts I might be able to help with. So that others might
see for themselves what you're encountering, it would help if you could reduce
the problem set to as small a demo as possible. (same advice we give nearly everyone)

Emotional support, I think you've received already, but technical assistance
is really what the newsgroup is about.
