I also noticed that at least one other person ( Rick?) says my clock is
shown as off by about only 3 minutes ( which is also not right) so it maybe
Jeff's problem.

This cannot be the first posting from this region.( India).

My system is set as follows : +5:30 ..GMT/ UTC/ ... any other standard?
I am not using a Lunar calendar - no provision in windows :).
Maybe they could include that too.
The region is set correctly as IST ( Indian standard time).
The daylight saving time box is checked and grayed - I cannot do anything
about that.
Have reset by referring to one of the many time servers available in a
Webtime clock I use.

It really could be a problem with Jeff's settings.
Minor problem yes, but definitely a problem.

But all this should be enough to reach a conclusion.
