You need to give us more of a clue. For example, what type of data is it? By
that I mean... Is it coordinates for a map? A text file with formatting
information? Lottery numbers? You see, without a clue as to why those binary
characters are there, it is a little hard to decipher them into meaningful
information. If you had a copy of one of these files from the past AND a
translation of that past file, then maybe we could uncover the encoding that
was used to produce it; but we need something to go on.
