Not really. There are a lot of variables involved in the right tool.
For example, do you want to be able to compress/decompress outside your app?
You going to sell this thing or just use it internally? Is this the only
place you are going to use it, or is this a first stage to bigger things?
Hows the budget?

If you just do a little googling you should find a ton of available tools.
