Recordset Data Type

Hi,

When you get a field from the recordset, what the data type does it return?

For example,

My_Variable = My_Recordset("Interest_Rate")


Interest_Rate is Double in the database. However, will the function
My_Recordset("Interest_Rate") return a Double or a Variant?
